#OpenDataSavesLives - Unconference 2 - Reproducible Analytical Pipelines

By Tazmin Chiles, Data & Innovation Consultant, Open Innovations

We are excited to announce that we’ll be hosting a second Unconference at the Open Innovations workspace in the heart of Leeds on the 20th September. You can register here via this Eventbrite link.

In light of the recent release of the Goldacre Review, we will be taking a deep dive into Reproducible Analytical Pipelines. The event will take place over the whole day, with a morning of lightning talks showcasing use cases of RAP adoption across the NHS, Dept of Health & Social Care, ONS and other organisations. We will be using these talks as an opportunity to share and learn from what people are working on, where there are barriers to adoption of RAP, best practices and what people need going forward.

In the afternoon, we will host a series of surgeries and workshop sessions where our speakers can offer hands-on demos, answer questions and advise on specific use cases. We welcome participants to bring their work with them and be prepared to join in.

The whole day will be streamed online so that viewers can participate and ask questions, either via an online viewing platform or an open working document. We will be sharing more information shortly, where you can find a link to view the session and get involved so watch this space for updates!

We’ll be announcing the speaker line-up shortly so stay tuned! And if you have any questions or suggestions for this event, then get in touch with us.
